If you’re responsible for delivering program in your unit, Roundtable will save you time and prevent avoidable mistakes.
Roundtable is Meridian’s monthly gathering for unit leaders and volunteers. It’s where ideas are exchanged, challenges are discussed, and practical solutions are shared. Whether you are a Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Advisor, Committee Chair, or new parent stepping into a volunteer role, Roundtable connects you with others facing the same questions and opportunities, and helps facilitate discussions around best practices and solutions.
Sessions focus on relevant and timely topics like program planning, seasonal activities, advancement updates, recruitment strategies, safety reminders, annual renewals, and district events. It’s also an open forum! If something isn’t working in your unit, Roundtable is a place to ask. If you’ve found a solution that works well, Roundtable is a place to share it. The goal is simple: strengthen units by strengthening leaders.
Roundtable is not a lecture, and Meridian has deliberately designed its Roundtables to focus on unit priorities rather than one-way announcements from Council and District. It’s a working session designed to make your job easier and your program stronger. Come with questions. Leave with clarity, contacts, and actionable ideas you can implement immediately.
Third Thursday of every month at:
Coyote Creek Elementary School
Multipurpose Room
8700 N Gale Ridge Road
San Ramon, CA 94582
7pm – 8:30pm
Dates may change during the summer months of busy Scouting activities, and over the winter holidays. We will announce changes ahead of time.
Highly recommended for all Cubmasters, Scoutmasters, Advisors, Committee Chairs, and key unit leaders. However, we know availability may fluctuate so units are asked to send at least one volunteer to each Roundtable.
If you’d like to request a specific topic, or have questions about upcoming sessions, please contact our Roundtable Commissioner.
